Our first visit to Yilan, a 1.5-hour drive from Taipei. Again, there was a community facility that renovated a historic building. They are working on creating a sustainable society by through traditional Taiwanese technologies and craftsmanship.

We visited Taichung with the help of a regional revitalization team in Taiwan to further our research. Taichung was once thought of as an industrial city, but is now fast gaining popularity among the tourist as a melting pot of both culinary and cultural delights.

We left Italy and went back to Paris, France. From there, we moved to Quimper by train, which is about 3 hours and a half from Paris. Quimper is a city in Brittany, northwest France. It is a beautiful city and the compact cityscape is comforting; time seems to be flowing slowly which was very refreshing.
