MIlk & More, an UK based online shopping store - their mission is to continue the milkman legacy and its expansion into a modern, sustainable doorstep delivery service. The store provides zero-waste products from milk, juice, dairy alternatives, pantry essentials to household must haves which will all be collected and cleaned to re-used.
They have just partnered with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners to trial for 8 to 12 weeks, the delivery and collection of refillable Coke Zero Sugar bottles.
From June 5th where customers have been able to order 1 litre glass bottles of Coke Zero which can be left on their doorstep for collection once emptied and rinsed. According to the company, the bottles can be washed, refilled and reused up to 20 times, resulting in an 82% smaller carbon footprint versus single-use glass.
In Japan, co-ops have been collecting some products in this way for some time, but we hope to see more options for collection -> reuse in the future.
