STOP! MICRO WASTE - For a plastic free nature

COMING SOON!
STOP! Micro Waste is a non-profit organization initiated by LANGBRETT, a group of surfers and nature lovers. They link education with activities in nature to raise awareness about (micro)plastic pollution.
Raising awareness of microplastic pollution is fundamental, but at the same time there needs to be concrete solutions. Which is why they combine innovations such as the GuppyFriend wash bag, educational work and company dialogues to draw attention to the problem.
We at Borderless Creations empathized with their thoughts and efforts as well as with one of their corporate partner Patagonia and therefore wanted to include GUPPYFRIEND Washing Bag into our lineup in the online store so that we can help to raise awareness about micro plastic pollution. At the very least, we should all be more mindful and understand about the domestic wastewater from our own home.
Scientifically approved solution against microplastic pollution from washing
With each wash, countless plastic fibers from synthetic textiles are making their way from washing machines into rivers and oceans.
The GUPPYFRIEND Washing Bag is a patented solution, that filters out the tiniest microfibers released from textiles during washing. The self-cleaning fabric bag is made of a specially designed micro-filter material. Simply collect the fibers and dispose them of properly.
The GUPPYFRIEND Washing Bag is only a first step towards a holistic solution to microfiber pollution. Not more. Not less. Our overconsumption needs to change radically, and new materials, manufacturing techniques, clean washing machines and more effective sewage treatment plants need to be developed. This might take a while.
Until then the GUPPYFRIEND Washing Bag is a practical and effective way to reduce plastic pollution in our rivers and oceans.
