What are the 3Rs?
Do you know what the three R's are? They are reduce, reuse and recycle. Reduce: Reduction of waste generation - Don't be wasteful. Reduce garbage. Reuse: Reuse of products and parts - Use things again and again. Recycle: Use of recycled resources - Recycle resources for reuse.
Reduce and reuse are something we can all practice easily. Recycling can be a little more difficult to do on our own but you can start by purchasing already recycle products.
There is also another important R that you can start from today. That is "Refuse". Refuse a plastic bag when you go shopping, refuse excessive packaging, or refuse a free sample distributed on the street. It's simple but will be effective.
