We often hear various words such as sustainable, eco-friendly, and environmentally friendly. Without thinking too hard, I want to live a simple and minimalistic lifestyle that is comfortable for me. Because it is comfortable, we can continue it and enrich our minds.

What can each of us enjoy and comfortably continue?

In this issue, we focus on three actions you can take in your home!

* Reduce the use of disposables
* Simplify your daily laundry
* Convert food scraps into compost

Even small actions can have a big impact.

* Reduce the use of disposables

Wash and reuse when soiled. A very simple idea. It has been four years since our family started using wipes and other products to wash and reuse tissue paper, which was a high consumption item. Before we knew it, tissue paper disappeared from our house. It is a step toward reducing paper waste!

* Simplify your daily laundry

These items are simple and easy to incorporate because they are consumables that are used daily. We use only these three items in our home. They are good for the family budget and the environment, easy and simple!

✔︎ Laundry detergent - 618 SCALLOP POWDER
✔︎ Laundry bag - GUPPYFRIEND WASHING BAG
✔︎ Dryer balls - ULAT DRYER BALLS

618 Scallop Powder - Scallop shells are used to make this upcycled multi-powder. When mixed with water, it has a strong alkaline disinfecting and deodorizing effect. It can also be used to remove stains from vegetables and fruits! We mainly use it as laundry detergent. In addition, used powdered water is returned to nature while cleaning drains and rivers. Recommended for those who want to live a simple life!

GUPPYFRIEND WASHING BAG - This washing net is designed so that plastic fibers stay inside and do not flow into the ocean. Washing clothes using this bag reduces the amount of fibers that fall out due to friction, which prevents damage to the laundry regardless of the type of garment.

ULAT DRYER BALLS  - Excellent for reducing drying time in the dryer. Wool is a material with excellent water absorption and moisture release properties. The ball works by getting in between items and helps separate them by promoting air circulation. It also saves on electricity costs.

* Convert food scraps into compost

Since about 80% of food waste is water, drying it before discarding it makes the waste lighter and easier to transport, and improves combustion efficiency at incineration plants. There are an increasing number of products that can be easily tackled at home, and our family has been using bag-type LFC compost for the past four years. I recommend it because it allows us to incorporate circulation into our lives
