Wouldn't it be great if we could enjoy washing clothes while reducing energy costs and being kind to the earth? The ULAT Dryer Ball is the answer.
The Canadian-born ULAT Dryer Ball is an excellent product that drastically reduces the drying time of laundry. For households that use the dryer on a daily basis, it also saves energy. When drying clothes, three balls can be placed in the dryer to start the drying process. In addition to reducing drying time, the wool content replaces fabric softener, making even towels fluffier.
ULAT Dryer Balls began in 2011, when founder Jennifer was always giving handmade gifts to family and friends.
She uses wool as a catalyst for change. Using only Canadian materials, she developed a multi-use product that reduces energy consumption while still operating in Vancouver. She has also devised new ways and means to establish a new category for Canadian wool, increasing the demand for wool products made in Canada year after year.
As an inclusive employer that values diversity, ULAT, as an Accessible Employer Member, provides job opportunities and skills for those in need of economic independence. Jennifer is a member of The Campaign for Wool in Canada and a Futurpreneur Canada Mentor, which supports the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
