[Brand Story #5] The Humble Co. - The world’s most sold bamboo toothbrush maker
Established in 2013 in Stockholm, The Humble Co. is a company making personal care products. Their products are available in thousands of stores and dental clinics. They develop health/wellness products that are eco-friendly and socially responsible with an innovative twist.
Their vision says it all:
"When we are lucky enough to be born in an affluent part of the world it should be our duty to take care of the less fortunate. Many children will never own any oral care products and we’re depleting natural resources and filling up the oceans with used products. Can we change our ways of production and consumption? Can we help provide oral care products to those that need it most? The answer is yes! As a dentist, The Humble Co. was founded to create products that are good for you and kind to our planet. Every Humble purchase goes towards funding projects for the benefit of children in need Join the movement. Make the switch. Go Humble."
Sweden is definitely one of the leading country in the world of sustainability. The Humble Co.'s attitude and vision towards the environmental problems are something that resonates with us.
In addition to bamboo toothbrush, they also make bamboo toothbrush case, bamboo straws etc.
Take a look at how the toothbrushes are made:

Once your toothbrush is worn out, just separate the head containing the bristles from the handle. The bristles go to the household waste or plastic recycling.
The handle of your bamboo toothbrush can easily be composted.
How about trying some of these at home and carrying them around? The idea of reuse is to reduce garbage and waste. Let's give it a try!
