Antique Kimono Upcycle Workshop!
g to y design and Borderless Creations have collaborated to start an upcycling workshops!
Upcycling refers to “the process of creating value by taking unwanted items that are no longer needed and giving them new forms instead of discarding them”. We aim to hold workshops where participants can enjoy using antique kimonos that have existed in Japan for a long time and revive them in various forms.
For the first workshop, we will be making a kimono patchwork cushion!

*【WHAT】
Using kimono fabric of your choice, you will make a patchwork cushion by hand sewing!
Kimonos will be prepared from scraps of antique kimonos or untied kimonos that have been given to us.
Please feel free to join us even if you are a beginner!
Let's enjoy making cushions together!
