The idea behind Kaffeeform was developed in 2009 in Germany, fuelled by the intention to create a sustainable material that aims to take advantage of coffee grounds, a waste material readily available, to become an alternative to plastics.

In 2015, after five years of experimentation and investigation, they found a unique formula to upcycle old coffee into new, beautifully designed products. Their iconic Kaffeeform Cups were born.

And now, they give renewable resources (other wasted resources) – that would have ended up in the trash – a second life by transforming them into beautiful everyday objects and infusing them with a new purpose.

Do you know what happens to the coffee extract from coffee shops you drink every day? They are all eventually discarded. This cup was made with new materials in consideration for the environment.

The color COFFEE GROUND is made from discarded coffee extracts collected from cafes in Berlin, Germany.
