[ECO TIPS]
✔︎ Plastic Free
✔︎ Natural
✔︎ Compostable

PAPLUS® plastic-free tumblers are made from PLA (polylactic acid), which is mainly composed of lactic acid obtained by fermenting corn starch, and paper. By adopting materials that are kind to earth, the texture is similar to natural materials such as pottery and wood products, and we value the individuality of each tumblers.

These are recommended for people who:

"I want to use my cup, but I want to avoid plastic products!"

"I want to choose something that is good for the environment, but design is also important ..."

[FEATURES]
-Warm drinks are OK
Many of the products with high purity of plant-based ingredients do not have a heat-resistant function, but the heat-resistant temperature of this plastic-free tumbler is 120 ° C, so you can use it for warm drinks with confidence.

-Special design
The plastic free tumbler has a simple design in order to take advantage of its unique texture. In addition, in order to make the silhouette of the side straight, we are particular about post-processing from the mold, and finally polish it to finish it with a matte texture.

-Commitment to packaging
The packaging uses "chip balls," which are 100% recycled paper made from used newspapers and magazines.

-Materials that are in harmony with the earth
About 86% of plastic-free tumblers are made of corn-derived resin and paper, which are plant-based ingredients. Viscous minerals (about 7%) and petroleum-derived additives (about 7%) are added to the main component to ensure the function as a product including heat resistance. *1 In addition, it is a biodegradable material that decomposes in 3 to 6 months under compost conditions and in several years in the soil.

* 1 Please be assured that the minimum amount of additives used complies with the Food Sanitation Law established by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. Many so-called ecological products do not mention additives which is worth noting.

-Recycle instead of throw away
Plastic free tumblers can be treated as combustable garbage. However, instead of disposing it as garbage, we also provide a service of collecting it as a resource and remanufacturing it. Please work together to ensure recycling.

BRAND STORY

99% or more of plant-based ingredients (world's highest level)
Made from paper and corn-derived biodegradable resin

Environmentally friendly material PAPLUS®

Among the biodegradable plastics derived from plants, polylactic acid (PLA), which is the most commonly used, is an environment-friendly synthetic resin made from plant-based resins such as corn starch and sugar cane juice and lactic acid bacteria. This polylactic acid (PLA) is combined with biodegradable paper derived from the same plant to overcome the weak points of PLA such as heat resistance, durability, and difficulty of molding with Japanese advanced technology. PAPLUS® is a new thermoplastic resin that replaces petroleum-derived plastics.

PAPLUS® will be produced as a product that can be collectioed, and PAPLUS® products that have finished their role will be remanufactured.

OUR TIPS

New items have been added to the few MADE IN JAPAN products and brand we have on our site. A Japan made tumbler made of PLA material, which is familiar and commonly used by oversea products. PAPLUS it self is still evolving, and when we heard the story of the person who developed it, we felt their passion. The product was definitely difficult to make by Japanese craftsmen while developing, but after their hardwork, a wonderful item have been made. There is also a collection service if it breaks. Please experience this epoch-making tumbler that emphasizes the circular cycle.
