Founded in Taichung in 2016, by two young people, Ririren Rural Company Limited (梨理人農村有限公司) started to take action after seeing large amounts of surplus fruits being produced in rural village in Houli, Taichung after the harvest.
There they discover the issues of burning agricultural wastes of fruit bags, pear branchlets, plastic and wires in top-grafting pear industry. Ririren decided to start paying attention on the environment generated and the human resource behind it. Slowly they transformed from participation as students into the establishment of a company and are now fully devoted into R&D and the Regeneration Mode of agricultural wastes. They work with the community partners and farmers together and reorganized the agricultural wastes to the manufacture of products. They are not only working hard for solving problems but also for creating micro agricultural industry. They wish to get more people involved and bring attention to the young and hope to and develop their home town through the planning of culture and creativity, art craft, tourism and experience. Their current primary service include the product development and sale of fruit trees, experiential environmental education tours, and hand-made activities and related topics.
Their vision: "We hope to become a pioneer for the circular use of fruit trees in Taiwan and hope that our efforts can inspire more people to pay attention to the value of each and every kind of resource."
