#WhoIsBehindTheBrand?

We’ve introduced the brands and their products but who are the people behind the brands?  What are their thoughts? We asked the same 10 questions to all the brands so that you can get a better understanding of the brands and their stories.

Today we interviewed Ms. Ota from LOVEG; which created the soy meat products available on our online site. Easy to use, good for you and the planet, and most of all, they are delicious! How did they get started?

=================

Q1) What triggered you to tackle ethical and sustainable issues?

A1) I like beautiful things.

Working on "ethical and sustainable issues" with the earth, products, lifestyle, design, systems, and the mind in mind is like a quest for a "beautiful living."

Q2) What has changed from when the brand started and now?

A2) I feel that love is increasing day by day.

*****************************

Q3) What was the hardest part of developing your brand? On the contrary, what was the best thing about continuing the brand?

A3) Hardest part, everything. Best part, everything.

Q4) Tell us about someone that you know who are working on being sustainable. What kind of activity/initiative is this person doing?

A4) A person who is always giving out love and a smile.

There is a lot of altruism and selflessness around that person, and he/she is living within love and virtuous cycle.

I also want to be a part of this.

*****************************

Q5) What is your favorite quote?

A6) "Thank you"

A word that gives you power to live.

*****************************

Q6) Tell us about any books or movies that have had a great influence in your life!

A6)

Mary Poppins (Movie)

When I was a child, I watched it almost every day. It actually might be the most watched movie in my life. I feel that what I learned from her is still present in me.

Before the flood (Movie)

This was a movie that made me seriously think and deal with environmental issues.

Until then, I thought I knew a lot about environmental issues. But watching the movie has given me time to really understand the impact though my gut, be sad, be angry, and ponder how I should live. It's one of those movies that I feel glad I watched it.

Ami, Child of the Stars (Book)

It teaches us the importance of seeing human activities at a higher level.

Q7) If you can eat ANYTHING now, what would it be?

A7) Miso made by my mother

*****************************

Q8) If you can go ANYWHERE now, where would you like to go?

A8) Space

*****************************

Q9) Any other country or city you want to live?

A9) What I felt while traveling around the world is that I seem to like the climate of Japan and the lifestyle that accompanies the four seasons.

So, I will answer as "somewhere in Japan."

*****************************

Q10) What are you most mindful of when you think of your lifestyle?

A10) To always arrange and adjust my lifestyle and necessities of life (food, clothing and shelter). I would like to live with gratitude for the sun to rise and set.
