Their mission began with the realization that fast fashion is harming the environment while there is a lack of bags made from organic materials, a trend demanded by environmentally conscious consumers. All of their products are made from carbon-neutral, fair trade organic cotton and produced in GOTS-certified fair trade factories.

Terra Thread believes in being environmentally and socially responsible in all aspects of its business by always being sustainable, ethical, and transparent. The company's products are made from Fairtrade certified organic cotton and are produced in Fairtrade USA certified mills where farmers work in safe working conditions. They also ensure that a fair price is paid for the cotton. The organic cotton used is free of pesticides, insecticides, GMOs, and other toxic chemicals.
