mymizu ('mizu' means 'water' in Japanese) is an award-winning movement to tackle plastic waste and promote sustainable living.

The free mymizu app is a crowd-sourced platform connecting people to 13,000+ free water refill stations (water fountains and partner stores) across Japan and 200,000 globally.

At these locations, you can refill your water bottle for free, instead of buying plastic water bottles - it’s good for the planet, your body and your wallet!

Since 2019, mymizu’s plastic-free hydration network and movement have been co-created with 400,000+ people through crowdsourcing and the voluntary participation of 2,500+ partner stores (“Refill Partners”) across Japan and the world, saving millions of PET bottles from going to waste.

The mymizu community - app users and contributors, stores, partner schools and universities, companies, and so on - is the driving force behind the platform’s growth and impact.

[CARE INSTRUCTIONS]

- Do not freeze, do not microwave, do not bleach, do not overfill

<General usage>
- Wash thoroughly before first use.
- Keep out of reach of infants. It is dangerous as it may cause burns.
- Do not use for any purpose other than keeping beverages warm or cold.
- When hot beverages are placed in the container, be sure to observe the following precautions.
- Do not open the lid while tilted or with your face close to it.
- Do not tilt the bottle abruptly and drink slowly. Sudden tilting may cause the drink to come out with a forceful force, which may result in burns.
- When using the lid, make sure it is securely closed. Also, be sure to install the packing correctly and close the lid securely. Leakage may cause burns or stains on objects.
- When removing the packing, be careful not to lose or not install it.
- Fill the container with a smaller amount of drink than the inner stopper. Filling the bottle with too much drink may cause the drink to overflow when the lid is closed. Leakage during use may cause burns and stains.
- When closing the lid, do not tilt or shake the container. Doing so may cause the drink to overflow. Doing so may cause leaks, burns, or stains.
- Keep away from fire, such as a stove or stove top. Doing so may cause burns, deformation or discoloration of the product.
- Do not heat the product in a microwave oven or oven. Sparks may fly and it is dangerous.
- Do not put in freezer.
- Drink as soon as possible. It may cause spoilage or alteration of the ingredients. If left unattended for a long period of time, gas may be generated due to decomposition, which may cause the internal pressure to rise, preventing the bottle from opening, causing the bottle to pop out, or causing the drink to spurt out, which may result in injury or stains on items.
- When carrying the product, make sure the lid is securely closed.
- Do not drop or bump the product and do not subject it to strong impact. Doing so may cause deformation, cracking, poor heat/cool retention, or damage to the lid.
- Never modify, disassemble, or repair the product. Doing so may cause malfunction or accident.

<General cleaning>
- After use, wash immediately and dry thoroughly.
- Do not use a dishwasher or dryer. Doing so may deform parts, cause leaks, burns, or stains.
- Wash gently with a soft sponge. Scrubbing with a scrubber or polishing powder may scratch the surface.
- Do not use chlorine bleach, detergents, disinfectants, or abrasives such as cleansers.

<Do not add the following items>
- Salty foods such as miso soup, soup, sports drinks, etc.
Although some products use stainless steel inside the main body, the salt content may cause it to rust.
- Tea leaves and fruit pulp
Tea leaves and fruit pulp can clog gaps and leak, causing burns and stains.
